No IDE for py2.2.2??

When I encountered the same problem, I just recalled that there had always
been emacs
 The official python site delivers throughout info about how to
set the python mode.
Sorry for I have been unable to tell you something directly on the topic you
inquired, however, IMHO, emacs is the best IDE on nix.
