Modify Word Doc with Python

The only properties that I need to change at this time are the document
properties like Author, Company, Name, Title etc.  (File > Properties).

PS:  It was late at night.  I HAVE python installed on a linux box. :)

More info, please. What properties are you specifically trying to 
alter?
