This is not true, there are many packages you can download, some
simple, some complicated, in order to create web applications using
Python. Some of these emulate almost exactly the PHP-style
code-embedded-in-HTML model, some are more sophisticated.

One of the simpler (but still powerful) ones happens to be at
http://jonpy.sourceforge.net/ . I just mention this in passing <wink>
