And I like textpad (www.textpad.com) for its speed and reliability.
It supports just about everything (and every language too).  For Python, see
the 'Add-Ons' section, 'Syntax definitions' - their are currently 4 sets of
Python definitions to choose from.

BUT, it does not support code folding.
