Redhat 7.1 and Python 2.1

        They are included in the openssl095a-0.9.5a-1 package, found on the
        installation CD.

        RedHat is using Python 1.5.2 in many of its own basic tools and
        scripts, I think they are afraid of compatibility problems.  Try to
        make link from /usr/bin/python2.1 to /usr/bin/python and see the
        fireworks when everything breaks down.  I have linked python2.1 to
        /usr/local/bin/python and nothing (knocking on wood) has breaked
        apart this far.
