Python 2.0 on CrayT3E

Hi!

 Does anyone has experience with compiling Python 2.0 on Cray T3E
machines? 

I had problems with following modules:
  ucnhash
  mmapmodule (sys/mman.h unavailable)
  shamodule
  md5

After commenting out these modules the compilation succeeds, but starting
Python results the  error message:

Fatal Python error: Unicode configuration error: sizeof(Py_UNICODE) != 2
bytes
Abort (core dumped)
