If I had to think of something that was unbounded but not infinite,
I would say the surface of the Earth.
It is unbounded becuase you can walk in any direction for ever,
but the area in not infinite.

Just goes to show how human language is inexact, subjective, dynamic, etc...

(don't know how this relates to PEP240)
