Depends on which patched version of python-ldap you're using. As you
might have noticed and the API changed. Currently the OpenLDAP 2.0.x
patches are unofficial and python-ldap lacks a real official release
anyway...

You'd better subscribe to python-ldap-dev list on
http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/python-ldap-dev and
discuss it there. Before you might also want to review some
