Erm, I wrote:
>         def function(lots,of,args) with {type:"silly",
>                                          size:32}

and so on, when I obviously should have written:
>         def function(lots,of,args) with {type:"silly",
>                                          size:32}:

as I did in the "expansion" example further down.
