Best way to learn Python ?

I had a class that used it here at UCSD.  It was a camparative languages
class.  The class' focus wasn't Python, but we did discuss it and had a
programming assingment in it.

Though, yes, it is not realy taught in schools.  But neither is Pearl,
Awk, Shell scripting, ML, Pascal (anymore), etc.
