Looking for Python programmers--where to search?

It took me 6 days.

3 days to find an editor that would format the code correctly so the
interprator wouldn't crash.  3 days for the basics of the langauge.

Thats better than Perl though... I've been using it for 6 months and I
still can't write a function without looking at an example.  Perl syntax
is butt-ugly.
