This is not true.
Python qualifies as open source and free software.
Java implementations from Sun do not. And Sun has a firm grip
legal on the java specs.

He has less handles. He cannot withdraw the current Cpython
implementation for being free software.

I think that the proper reply here would be that there are different
C compilers even for windows.
