My apologies, I messed up with a few words.  How's this:

  "Packages compiled along with GPL code restrict their being linked
                     ^^^^^                              ^^^^^^^^^^^^
   to only GPL-compatible licenses.

So not only am I not a lawyer, but I'm not a wordsmith.
