There's a french-speaking Python mailing list. Some information should be 
available at http://www.aful.org/mailman/listinfo/python. If you gave more 
information about what the company you work for is doing/wants to do with 
Python, it might even possible to get some more application-specific 
references from the corresponding SIGs.
