There is another Python book coming out in March 2000. The book focuses on JPython, but has 8 chapters geared towards Python newbies. It covers, RE, functional programming, OO in Python, working with Python files with Pickle, etc. It also has some chapters on Java Applets, Java Servlets, JDBC/SQL., etc. The book is going to be published by Addison Wesley.
