same here.  my eyes just hate those extraneous spaces ;-)

(didn't you just mention Smalltalk?  maybe this differs between
C programmers and Smalltalk/Lisp programmers?  after all, adding
spaces between an identifier and the following argument list can
actually break a C program...)
