Found a re pattern that behaved differently on NT4 (US version) than it did on NT4 (German version) When I switched to use pre instead of sre it worked the same on both. I assume this is a Unicode thing ? Is this to be expected ? Sorry, left the example at work. Also don't have access to the German machine any longer. --Darrell
