Since you have mentioned Delphi in your e-mail,
have you checked out Python for Delphi ? It is very easy to install
and allows to embeed a Python VM inside a Delphi Program among
other interesting things.

I do not have a link at hand, but you can find it in the Vault of
Parnassus or querying www.google.com.
