Python GUIs: Abandoning TkInter and welcoming wxPython?

I know less than nothing about this subject, but have a though to
contribute.

What about using a tool like this:

To make use of Java's GUI tools.

Yes speed may be an issue, but it would work on the Mac and book stores are
loaded with Java....
Then Jpython and Cpython would share the same GUI tools.
