This should all depend on volunteers being willing to contribute.
If Gerhard wants to do this all on his own, and finds the time - that
would be fine with me. Also, if others are willing to help, that could
work (e.g. conversion of the documentation could be done by a different
contributor).

However, the release schedule for 2.5 should not change because of that.
