When using sendmail to send a message, the input to sendmail needs to
have all headers as well as the message body. At a minimum, you should
have
From: ...
Subject: ...
Date: ...
To: ...
Message-ID: ...
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: text/html
<html message body>
