	I can't speak for anything else, but Python 2.3 is required for 
proper use with Mailman 2.1.5.  See

	As for the rest, I'm not sure what's going on.  Perhaps once 
you've replaced the version of Python on your system, the other 
errors will be cleared up, or it will become more obvious what the 
real problem is.
