[Mailman-Users] Appendage problem

This time I think I have a legitimate question (that is not to say I
didn't do something stupid again) with respect to the appendage of
administrivia that Mailman puts at the end of each message. It seems
that (at least) when the message is MIME format the separator
(--------...) begins on the same line as the last attachment icon. Is
this a mail reader quirk? Mailman is smart enough to use the boundary
(sp?) from the original message but it doesn't add any newlines to
separate its appendage from the original content.
