[Mailman-Users] Sendmail Milter subsystem telling sendmail to discard Mailman digests

I've been banging my head against my monitor for a week now trying to 
figure out why this is happening, but I cannot.

I have this setup:
Fedora Core 2
Mailman 2.1.5
Sendmail 8.13.1
mimedefang 2.49
spamassassin 3.0.2
milter-date 0.12.160

Here's what's going on:

Email to the list comes in. 
Whether or not the email needs to be moderated, the email to non-digest 
users goes out without a problem. 
When senddigests is run, the following occurs in /var/log/maillog:

This happens even if I disable all of mimedefang's abilities to discard 
email.

What I can't understand is why it would discard the digest but not the 
non-digest messages!

Has anyone seen this peculiarity before?
