	There are two parts to the aliases -- the source text file which 
humans can read (usually something like /etc/aliases), and the binary 
database file which is actually used by the computer (sometimes there 
are two binary database files).  These binary database files are 
usually something like /etc/aliases.db, /etc/aliases.pag, etc....

	Have you run the command "newaliases" to regenerate the binary 
database files?


	Please note that these are general problems with your mail 
server, and not specific to Mailman.  You'd be more likely to get 
more and better help from a mailing list that is specifically 
oriented towards your mail server software, or your OS.
