Hi again

I think I found my problem, but now I need a work around. I failed to mention in my email below that the attachment has a very long filename, including spaces. Windows user, go figure... O and now the problem is with Outlook users using Exchange as well.

Anyway, when I rename the attachment and make the filename shorter, all works fine. This tells me that either Mailman or Postfix is doing something with the attachment? However, sending the mail from a Outlook Express mail client via a Postfix smtp server the attachent is fine. This points me to Mailman. Is there something in Mailman that will do something or have a problem with long filenames in attachments?

Regards
JvdW

When sending a message to the list with a .xls attachment the person using Lotus notes get the attachment as a .dat file. They then have to rename the file to get it to work. All the other members on the list receive the mail fine.
