[Mailman-Users] Problems with Sendmail...???

I am having a problem possibly relating to Sendmail.  If someone sends a command via email to the Mailman server, they get the following reply:
            ------The following addresses had transient non-fatal errors ------
            <HYPERLINK "mailto:#####-request at lists.lander.edu"#####-request at lists.lander.edu>
 
            ------ Transcript of session follows ------
            <HYPERLINK "mailto:#####-request at lists.lander.edu"#####-request at lists.lander.edu>… Deferred: Connection timed out with
            lists.lander.edu.
            Warning: message still undelivered after 4 hours
            Will keep trying until message is 3 days old.
 
Can anyone offer any help…?????  You can reply by email at HYPERLINK "mailto:mhenders at lander.edu"mhenders at lander.edu.
