[Mailman-Users] digest problem

hello guys,
am running mailman 2.0.10 on our RH 7.2 and postfix as our MTA. my problem is regarding digested emails. could you please explain to me how a digest works? from my understanding digests are sent to a subscribers every end of the day. and from my subscriber's experience they are receiving an email as shown below. how can they get the digested message based on the email below? or at the end of the day, all the emails would be send to them aside from the emails below?
