It depends.  If you control the site and know the Mailman site password,
log into the list's admin pages with that password and change the list
password.  If you aren't in that position, request that service of the
provider.

If you (or the provider's people) also don't know the site password, run
the script (or have them run it) which sets the site password, then return
to the first paragraph.
