You might make this work.  Read the details section of this
"Privacy Options" page option:

   Addresses of members accepted for posting to this list without
   implicit approval requirement. (See "Restrict ... to list
   members" for whether or not this is in addition to allowing
   posting by list members (Details)

The option it references is the one above it:

  Restrict posting privilege to list members?
  (member_posting_only) (Details)

Setting those appropriately will cause the list to hold all
postings for admin approval except for those sent from the email
addresses listed in the first option I gave.  You might find some
way of simply dumping messages held for approval instead of
actually holding them for you.

Something in the auto responder might also be useful.
