It's only easy for lists which are restricted to plain text.  For messages
which include attachments, "the end" is near the beginning...for messages
with both plain text and (ugh) HTML, there are two ends, one closer to the
beginning than the end, the other not quite at the end....both of which
would need the little bit of text.

Adding a custom header would be easier (but most people wouldn't see it,
and for some people (eg, Windows Outlook Express users) it's hard to see
even if you tell them it is there.
