Ah, do it *only* for Mailman-invoked sendmail.  Hmm.  Yes, that does
look interesting.  (I'm using SMTPDirect, which just contacts the
daemon to send mail, so the deferred mode would be all-or-nothing...
but one could use Sendmail instead.)
