[Mailman-Users] Installation

Hello,

I am trying to install mailman and I feel so much has been done so far but
the stage I am at now, there is this problem coming up.

When I enter:

"make install" the installation is failing with the following error despite
having installed python which is under /usr/local/bin. Which file can I edit
to point the installtion script to the right path?

Compiling /home/mailman/Mailman/pythonlib/tempfile.py ...

Compiling /home/mailman/Mailman/versions.py ...

No such file or directory: python
