[Mailman-Users] Compaq/DEC - True64 Problem

I all,

Wonder if anyone out there is runing mailman on a DEC Personal
Workstation
500AU. I have installed mailman and have a problem, hope someone can
assist:

It will receive mail and put it in the archive, but will not send it to
others
on the mailing list. The $prefix/mailman/logs/smtp-failures give the
following:

Jun 03 14:57:59 1999 TrySMTPDelivery: To
['jeffw at fatman.pro-libertate.com']

socket.error / host not found (deferred)

This would be version 8 of sendmail,  4.0d of  the DEC O/S,  1.0rc1 of
mailman,
I compiled it with the starndard DEC c compiler, and used Python 1.5.2.
