[Mailman-i18n] Some english to dutch translation problems

Hi,

I have some difficulty to translate the following lines to Dutch language.
I hope some Dutch readers can help me out.

msgid "Reloading pickled archive state"
msgid "Pickling archive state into "

I do not know the words 'pickled' and 'Pickling'.
I have looked at the dictionary book from 'prisma' but is is refering to
'Pickle' and it means:

 Definition a solution used to remove oxides or other compounds from the
surface of a metal by chemical action

 TERM pickle
 for example,scale and tarish

 TERM remover
for example,scale and tarish

TERM stripping compound
for example,scale and tarish
-----------

Should i use the word 'Removed' and translate that to Dutch?
