I'm Ok to head the Fr translation effort (Ousmane Wilane 
<wilane@yahoo.com>).
The catalog is in sync with the current cvs tree and the templates 
are a little bit out dated but will also be in sync in  a day or two.
We have a mailing list (Mailman of course :) hosted by Fil (Fil 
<Fil@rezo.net>) at http://listes.rezo.net/mailman/listinfo/mailman-fr.

Great idea since we need help to get the effort right.

We'll try to get the Fr ready for the 2.1.
Thanks for the neat i18n of the code without which nothing usefull
