[Mailman-Developers] Modifying -join and -leave addresses

Quick (and hopefully easy) question: how would I modify the mailman code
to have the -join and -leave addresses become -on and -off respectively?
This is probably relatively simple but I'm not at all familiar with the
code or the workings of mailman.
