Lockfiles being checked within filesystem attack tools will give the 
administrator an awful lot of rubbish to examine per day - general 
tripwire would be happy as long as the permissions were not silly (ie 
setuid), and it was informed that the file (all files in that 
directory/filesystem area) were transient data,
