<SIGH>.  I think in the future I'll forward my patches and ideas
to Barry and let him tell me what I'm missing...  If only Python
were more intuitive...  :)

The problem with the first patch (leaving the base URL empty)
is that it breaks footers on every message sent out that refers
to that URL.  Although I think that if no URL is specified,
the footers should use the default...

The problem with my second patch (allowing multiple admins from
newlist) is that the mailto: link breaks on all admin pages.
