	Yup. this is mailman's virtual hosting 'feature'. I posted a patch
fer this earlier.  Basically if there is a http 1.1  'HTTP_HOST' value,
mailman tries to only show the lists whose preferred host match that
value. IMHO, however the current implementation of mailman goes about this
wrong. It looks at the   preferred hostname for the hostname to match.
However the prefered hostname is generally the hostname that goes on
outgoing _email_. The hostname for email and for WWW may not always be the
same (in my case it isn't) The patch I submitted makes it check against
the hostname part of the base mailman URL, instead.  Lastly I _strongly_
think this feature should be en/disenable-able  via a switch in mm_cfg
(defaulting to disabled), as it is extremely confusing.
