I don't dispute your point.  I think the market is still 
wide open for really good Python tutorials -- in many
shapes and forms.  But I think 'Learning Python' is a
step in the right direction -- from the tutorial which
comes with Python (more geared towards programmers new
to Python, but not programming).  I would still recommend 
it, given it's available, and not over-priced.
