Python 2.3 release candidate 1 is finally out the door. We had planned to do it last night, but ran into too many last minute glitches for my or Tim's comfort. Unfortunately, the Cygwin issues that were reported yesterday did not get resolved.
I'm reallying looking forward to using 2.3. I think it will be a fairly easy transition from 2.2.x to 2.3. And you'll get a faster interpreter and lots of bugs fixed as a result. Perhaps Zope will jump directly from 2.1 to 2.3. (Right now Zope officially supports only 2.1.)
