FYI the "auditwheel repair" command now fixes the tag information (both in the filename and the WHEEL metadata) by default. This fix is available in the master branch of auditwheel (not yet released nor part of the docker manylinux docker images). https://github.com/pypa/auditwheel/pull/21 -- Olivier
