Also, try (works for me in Python3)
rivers = {'nile' : 'egypt', 'ohio' : 'US', 'rhine' : 'germany' }

for key, value in rivers.items():
    print (key)

for key, value in rivers.items():
    print (value)

    print ("The " + key + " is in the country of " + value)
