Alan,

Well, I try to be helpful.

And so I fixed that last evening.

As my software engineering colleague so tactfully and sensitively put it,
it's very difficult for someone who's spent decades writing procedural code
as a non-professional to stop thinking procedurally when working with an
object-oriented language. From the time C++ first came out I understood all
the concepts but I stayed with C because it met all my needs. As my friend
wrote, there's as much to unlearn as there is to learn to make the
transition.

Anyway, I got the UI for the model framework done, and he's finished with
the core C shared libraries, so now he'll take over writing the middle-ware
while I focus on those things I do best. That's why there's more than just me
in this effort. :-)

Rich
