Oh, what if you try
class MyBeautifulSoup(BeautifulSoup.BeautifulStoneSoup):
NESTABLE_BLOCK_TAGS = ['sceneobject', 'parameters', 'parameter', 'shader']
NESTABLE_TAGS = buildTagMap([], NESTABLE_BLOCK_TAGS)
