Hi there,
     Just a some rpm tips.
To list all the files installed by a rpm do a 
    rpm -ql <package-name>

To list all the files that a (not yet installed) rpm _would_ install do a
    rpm -qpl <rpm file name>
    eg: rpm -qpl MySQL-python-0.9.2-1.i386.rpm

To list the rpm that a particular file belongs to, do a 
    rpm -qf /path/to/file
