I think OpenBSD runs on x86; and Darwin is a modified OpenBSD.  The
only thing you would lose is the non-open parts of OSX (the Aqua GUI,
I imagine, and the MacOS compatibility libraries).

Still, Debian rocks :-).  Not only that, but sawfish has several Aqua
themes, if you like those window decorations :-).
