Hope all is well. I got an email over the weekend about the public review
of proposed Computer Science standards for North Carolina at all
grade levels. The email encouraged current teachers to reach out to
industry professionals for review, recommendations, and general feedback of
the draft standards. The rightmost columns focus on high school-level
skills/knowledge, and they look to line up strongly with those of the AP
Computer Science Principles course/"Big Ideas". Please feel free to share
with listservs or amongst your NC computer science/computer programming
community. Thanks for your support.
