[TriPython] Python and Slack - Any experience or tips

I've joined a team that uses Slack and want to be able to write some tools.
Has anyone used any good Python Libraries for this? Any hints and tips?

Note: I've done zero research at this point and wanted to see if others
have vetted python slack developer kit or other libraries.
